Not Sure What to Say On Your Social Media Posts?

Here’s my go-to formula I use again, and again, and again.

It’s easy to remember, doesn’t feel repetitive because the content is slightly different with new images each time, speaks to your ideal couples, and drives organic engagement.

Social

The Formula

Say hello & reference ideal client location

(blank line)

+ Reference something about the photo or use a prompt from Week 4, Step 7

(blank line)

+ Ask people to take an action (tag a friend, answer a question you're asking, share the post, like the post, etc.)

(blank line)

+ Give them a reason to visit your website (ie - for pricing, dates, etc.) and then include your website address

(blank line)

+ Tag pro photographer if you are using their photo and other vendors if you can

A Few Examples

You’ll see a bit of variation in the structure of examples below, but they have a similar flow.

(I took most of these photos myself, which is why you don’t see many pro photographer tags. More examples at www.facebook.com/hauevalley)

Easy Social Content Ideas

Here are some topic ideas that are easy, don’t feel pitchy, and keep you front of your target audience without feeling like a sham-wow infomercial to BUY BUY BUY! while couples are sheltering in.

Keep including your website address in every post, using a headline that often references your ideal couples city, and make sure to use a blank line in posts between sentences or VERY short paragraphs. You don’t want one big paragraph! Emojii’s help break up the text too. To add emojii’s simply copy and paste from Emojiipedia .

·      Introduce yourself, introduce your staff, tell me your story.

·      Show your audience what you’re doing in the community

·      Show your audience the projects you are working on at the venue

·      Give your audience wedding day advice – you can find lots of this in the week 8 in my booked couples resource guide.

·      As always, showing content from past weddings is an easy go to.
