Verifying Your Website With Facebook

Add Two Step Authentication - Do This First

Setup 2-factor authentication on your profile. This makes your account more secure and it makes FB happy about your ad account being legit.

Screenshots below on where to find that. Note that this is NOT in ads manager. You just need to be on FB in your feed to find this button.

Step 1:

From a desktop computer, click the small navigation triangle in the upper right corner of Facebook

Step 2:

Click Settings & Privacy, and then click Settings

Step 3:

Click “Security and Login” or something that looks similar (Facebook changes things often.)

Need Help? Read This:

The following is technical and can be a little tricky sometimes. You CAN do the following steps yourself. But if you don’t want to take the time or if you are feeling challenged, you can hire my friend and colleague Julie Lowe (Facebook wizard!) to help you do it. Julie charges $350 an hour, and it usually takes her an hour to help you get business manager setup and your website verified. Some of my past coaching clients would tell you it’s well worth it to get her help from the start. PS - It’s totally up to you. I don’t get any kind of kick-back from Julie. I simply added this option because it’s a one time technical setup some people would rather not deal with. Thanks!
